Ok, so you've got a mirror on the back of the sunvisor but the light is dead.
Its supposed to come on automatically when you lower the visor to view yourself in the mirror, AND the lights of the car are on.
Also makes half decent map reading light.
I kept thinking the bulb must be dead and tried removing the bezel around the mirror.
In the end the failure was an electrical connection on the post clip area.
But I didn't know that until after I had removed the mirror/light unit from the visor and began troubleshooting.
The visor is grounded by the main swivel mount.
The clip side provides 12 volts.
The socket mounted to the ceiling has an electrical contact.
The mating post on the visor has a connector which when the visor is lowered to view the mirror, will make connection to the socket, and when the dash lights are on, the mirror lights will be lit.
In my case the bulbs were fine.
The post connector had slid away from the connection inside the visor which obvously meant the lights never came on.
After aligning the post correctly I simply carefully glued it back in.
For those of you with dead bulbs, I could see no way to remove the bezel without the probability of breaking the lens.
For me I found it best to remove the entire mirror/light assembly from the visor by carefully prying it out with a putty knife.
The bulbs can be accessed from the back, or, carefully unclip the 4 catches on the lens from the back of the light assembly.
I suspect that trying to unclip it when its mounted will likely break it.
Once I was done I just I glued the unit back onto the visor with silicone adhesive.
FYI: I found it easiest to work on the visor on the work bench by first removing the visor completely from the car by just removing two screws on the swivel mount and disconnecting the ground wire inside.
Also, the post connector is not aligned properly in the photo below. Its 90 degrees off.
