Liebchen and Oscar
This is Liebchen. Liebchen means 'sweetheart' in German.
After Oscar died in Dec 2001, the house just didn't seem right without a dog.
We got Liebchen in early January 2002 when she was just 10 weeks old.
She is a pure bred German Shepherd female.
Her lineage is all show dogs but we just wanted her as a nice dog.
OSCAR UPDATE: Oscar died suddenly from cancer on Dec 19, 2001.
A tumor burst and he bled internally.
Despite our efforts and ER animal hospital attempts he couldn't be saved.
We were not aware of his cancer until his last few hours with us.
He was happy to the last breath and seemed like 3 years old even at 11.
Oscar was our dog from November 1991 to December 2001.
He was big, about 85 pounds and a German Shepherd mix.
He was quite a character and we miss him very much.
