Peter's JAGUAR XJ6 page

Page updated April 15, 2002

After several years of searching and contemplating a Jaguar I've finally bought one. The purest form of the XJ series is considered by most enthusiasts as the early versions - Series 1 - Made in 1968-73. Mine is a 1971 and is painted in British Racing Green which is less than a year old and currently has black interior though that may change if/when we reupholster. Combining the best of a beautiful body shape and practicality, mine has the ever popular engine conversion to a Chevy 350 V8 and Turbo 350 3-speed AT trans. Modern alternator and starter!

These photos were actually taken before I bought it which is why the 'for sale' sign is still on it.

No engine bay photos yet. Needs a thorough cleaning first.
