I saw a jack adapter like this during one of my travels in England and figured I could make my own using heavy gauge steel 2x3 and rods and my trusty MIG welder. Using it provides a rapid way to get the entire front of the car off the ground and easy to place onto jack stands. The 635 has 'fangs' that hang down from the frame rails so makes an ideal jacking location in this fashion. The end rods of the beam prevent it from slipping on the fangs.
