PREVIOUSLY OWNED CARS INCLUDE....

Alfa Romeo Spider, BMW 635CSI, BMW 320i, BMW 2800CS, BMW 2002, BMW 530i, Acura Legend; Vigor; Integra, Datsun Roadster, Jaguar XJ6, Lancia Scorpion, Morris Mini-Cooper, Triumph Spitfire, Toyota Supra, Toyota Corolla.

I don't have a fixation about a particular brand or model or country of origin, I just like them when they're interesting. German, Italian, British, Japanese, American - they all have nice stuff!

my last BMW was a 1989 635CSI. It had a 3.5 liter 6-cyl. engine, full leather, front and rear AC with cooler, ABS, LSD, electric everything. Beautiful sleek lines. Sold in Dec. 2005.

Here is a couple shots of my 1960 Morris Mini (998cc Cooperized Mini-Minor). It's right hand drive hence the NO DRVR licence plate. People waved or gave a thumbs up just about every time I took it out. Especially when I had my dog in the passenger seat (left side). Only 10 feet bumper to bumper and about 1300 lbs. It had a 1000cc 4-cyl. 56HP engine and is more comfortable than you'd think. Far bigger inside than the outside implies.

And here is how it looked before the restoration. Yikes!

1991 Acura Legend. It had a 3.2 liter V6 engine, 4 wheel ABS disc brakes. 138mph couple times. Sshhh!

A 1971 Jaguar XJ6 with a Chevy V8 conversion. Big smooth barge with great grunt. Click here for more pix of this car.

Below is a picture of me with Mini-Cooper, Alfa Spider and BMW 2800CS. Miss the BMW the most.

A 1981 BMW 320i. Left for dead and given to me free for the cost of towing. Restored, enjoyed, used for junk yard parts getter, then sold on Ebay. Buyer flew down and drove it home 750 miles. Nice body, AC, Sunroof, etc was too good to pass up. Click here for more pix of this car and the whole restoration story.

A 1976 BMW 2002. It had a dead automatic transmission when I bought it. Only reverse gear worked. I immediately converted it to a 5-speed from a 320i. The photo here was taken after it was cleaned up and running well. It had a 2-liter 4-cylinder engine, rear wheel drive of course, sunroof, air conditioning. Fun project and very rewarding to get it driving and looking nice again. Sold it on Ebay and new owner had it shipped to Texas. Amazingly, while browsing ebay a couple years later I saw it for sale again and the seller used the same text I wrote.

A 1974 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce 2000. Beautiful Italian convertible and great exhuast note. 2-liter DOHC engine with a 5-speed trans, 4 wheel disc brakes and went like a scalded cat. The covered headlights really finished those great Pinifarina body lines. Featured in the May 99 issue of European car magazine, page 32. Click here to see it. Had it five years and sold May 2000.

A 1992 Acura Vigor GS. Was the ex's daily driver for 5 years. Great car, just a little small in the back seat leg room. Very similar otherwise to the Acura Legend. 5 cylinder engine common from 92-94 Vigor and 95-97 2.5TL.

A 1976 Triumph Spitfire. It was my dads until he died in '95. Then it went to my brother who largely left it alone. Then I got it and it was well weathered by years left outside. I restored it then later sold in Oct. 1999. A enthusiast from Colorado came and drove it home!

I've made a dedicated page to its restoration. Click here to see it.

A 1971 BMW 2800CS. Fantastic coupe with a 2.8 liter 6 cyl. engine. Gorgeous body lines and rust free. I foolishly sold it in 1997 mostly because I was tired of the feeble automatic. I should have kept it and converted to a 80's automatic or 5-speed. This one I really wish I never sold.

A 1976 Lancia Scorpion which I restored over about 3 years. It was not running and in pieces for 5 years before I got it. 4 prior owners never completed it. Towed in part in numerous boxes. It was 6 months before I had it running so much work and parts sourcing had to be done. The British magazine "Practical Classics" published a story I wrote about the restoration. One of 1200 made. Looked faster than it went unfortunately. 1800cc FIAT engine. Should have had the V6 engine from the Stratos.

A 1981 Toyota Supra. 2.8 liter 6-cyliner. Went fantastic. Black leather interior. Very firm ride.

A 1976 BMW 530i. Smooth high speed cruiser. 3-liter 6-cylinder engine. Drove great but sold it when it started to burn too much oil.

A 1967 Datsun 1600 Roadster. The best British car Germany never made - ha!. One of 5000 built - in Japan. First of 3 convertibles I owned.

A 1983 Toyota Corolla SR5 coupe. Great car for me at the time. Stolen at gun point by 3 Mexicans. Not fun. Found 4 days later and was totaled. Police said it was probably used in a hold-up robbery somewhere too.

I never owned this car but my relatives in Hungary still do. It's a Trabant and made in the former East Germany. Buyer had to wait several years to get it after ordering. It's sometimes affectionately called a PVC Jaguar because the body is plastic and at the time it was about all most Hungarians could afford. It uses a 2-stroke engine which meant you had to add oil to the gas. Though if I remember right, you could buy gas with the oil mixture built in straight from the pump. This photo was taken in 1984 when I was in Hungary last and got to drive it. Its actually bigger than my Mini. I was younger then...
